Stat. tit. 47, § 47-2-312","heading":"Fraud - Penalties","body":"(a) No person shall knowingly make any false statement or shall\n\nfalsify or permit to be falsified any record or records of the\n\nSystem, in any attempt to defraud such System.\n\n(b) Should any such change in records fraudulently made, or any\n\nmistake in records inadvertently made, result in any member or\n\nbeneficiary of said System receiving or paying more or less than he\n\nwould have been entitled to had the records been correct, then, on\n\nthe discovery of such error, the Board shall correct such error and\n\nshall adjust payments which he should have paid or received.\n\n(c) Any person violating any provisions of subsection (a) of\n\nthis section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction,\n\nshall be punished by a fine of not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than\n\nsix months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6c1d6fafa698465a210f9098de43a498caa967391800ef7d0d4ae3692a9c1b67","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-2-310.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-2-313"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
