Other state agencies, departments and bureaus shall\n\ncooperate with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety in\n\nregulating motor carrier safety and the transportation of hazardous\n\nmaterials. Such agencies, departments and bureaus may enter into\n\ninteragency agreements with the Department for the purpose of\n\nimplementing, administering and enforcing any provision of the\n\nOklahoma Motor Carrier Safety and Hazardous Materials Transportation\n\nAct and the rules and regulations of the Department issued pursuant\n\nthereto.\n\nB. The Department may enter into a cooperative agreement with\n\nthe United States Department of Transportation and any other federal\n\ndepartment or agency to enforce the provisions of the Oklahoma Motor\n\nCarrier Safety and Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, or\n\nregulations adopted pursuant thereto, federal motor carrier safety\n\nregulations, and federal regulations governing the transportation of\n\nhazardous material. The Department may receive grants, gifts and\n\nother funds, equipment and services from the federal government or\n\nother sources for this purpose.\n\nC. All files, records and data gathered by the Department\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Motor Carrier Safety and Hazardous\n\nMaterials Transportation Act may be made available to the Department\n\nof Environmental Quality, other agencies of state government, the\n\nUnited States Department of Transportation and other jurisdictions\n\nin any cooperative effort relating to motor carrier safety or the\n\ntransportation of hazardous materials.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2e4e14bad5c2a97090a042994b2066660208671c5764beedeb72183a679422be","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-230.10","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-230.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
