Stat. tit. 47, § 47-230.34b","heading":"Proximity of portable scale to commercial grain","body":"elevator — Exceptions.\n\nA portable scale used at any location other than an official\n\nweigh station by the Department of Public Safety or the Corporation\n\nCommission to weigh any vehicle transporting grain shall not be\n\nlocated within two (2) highway miles of any commercial grain\n\nelevator. This section shall not apply if the vehicle is:\n\n1. Involved in a collision;\n\n2. Being subjected to a Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance\n\n(CVSA) inspection by the Department of Public Safety; or\n\n3.
