There is hereby created the Manufactured Home Advisory\n\nCommittee which shall consist of five (5) members who shall be\n\nappointed as follows:\n\n1. The members shall be appointed by the Governor from a list\n\nof not less than twenty names submitted by the Trade Association of\n\nManufactured Home Dealers, as certified by the Commission, as set\n\nforth herein;\n\n2. The members shall be appointed for terms of three (3) years;\n\nexcept that, for the first committee appointed, two members shall be\n\nappointed for two (2) years with terms ending June 30, 2002, two\n\nmembers shall be appointed for three (3) years with terms ending\n\nJune 30, 2003, and one member shall be appointed for four (4) years\n\nwith a term ending June 30, 2004; and\n\n3. The members shall be licensed and primarily engaged in the\n\nmanufactured housing industry.\n\nB. The Manufactured Home Advisory Committee shall choose from\n\ntheir membership a person to act as the chair and shall meet as\n\nnecessary.\n\nC. The Manufactured Home Advisory Committee shall provide\n\nspecific recommendations and advice to the Commission on\n\nmanufactured home industry issues including, but not limited to:\n\n1. Claims or complaints concerning noncompliances, defects,\n\nserious defects, or imminent safety hazards filed by consumers and\n\nto resolve such claims or complaints;\n\n2. Adoption of guidelines for the installation of manufactured\n\nhomes and mobile homes; and\n\n3.
