Any person, firm or corporation who is refused a license or\n\nwhose license is canceled, suspended or revoked shall be notified in\n\nperson or by mail with return receipt requested to the address given\n\non the application of the applicant or licensee and, upon written\n\nrequest within fifteen (15) days of receipt of such notice, shall be\n\ngiven a hearing upon the proposed action. The hearing may be\n\nconducted by the Commission and shall be held no more than thirty\n\n(30) days from receipt of the written request for a hearing. The\n\nhearing may be informal and the rules of evidence of the courts of\n\nOklahoma shall not be required. Appeals from the decision of the\n\nCommission shall be governed by the Administrative Procedures Act.\n\nB. In addition to the cancellation, suspension, revocation or\n\nrefusal to issue or renew a license or the imposition of any other\n\npenalty by the Commission, the Commission is hereby authorized to\n\nimpose administrative fines for violations of the Automotive\n\nDismantlers and Parts Recycler Act in the amounts not to exceed Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00) for a first violation, One Thousand\n\nDollars ($1,000.00) for a second violation and Five Thousand Dollars\n\n($5,000.00) for a third violation.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9ae100ff4ae7e251dd5524b0c88d8e089d9d81fc1de67d1b545b675e0cc3946b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-591.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-591.11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
