Stat. tit. 47, § 47-591.13","heading":"Violations - Penalties","body":"Any person violating any provision of the Automotive Dismantlers\n\nand Parts Recycler Act or operating as a rebuilder as used in\n\nSection 581 et seq. of this title without a rebuilder certificate\n\nshall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon the first conviction\n\nthereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($500.00) with impoundment of the vehicle until all taxes\n\nand fees are paid and upon the second conviction thereof shall be\n\npunished by a fine of not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)\n\nwith impoundment of the vehicle until all taxes and fees are paid\n\nand upon the third or subsequent conviction thereof shall be\n\npunished by a fine of not less than One Thousand Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($1,500.00) with impoundment of the vehicle until all taxes\n\nand fees are paid or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more\n\nthan one (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment. If a\n\nvehicle is impounded pursuant to the provisions of this section, the\n\nvehicle shall not be released to the owner until the owner provides\n\nproof of security or an affidavit that the vehicle will not be used\n\non public highways or public streets, as required pursuant to\n\nSection 7-600 et seq. of this title. Each vehicle involved in a\n\nviolation of this section shall be considered a separate offense.\n\nThe penalties collected from the payment of the fines shall, after\n\ndeduction of court costs, be paid to the Oklahoma Used Motor\n\nVehicle, Dismantler, and Manufactured Housing Commission Fund as\n\ncreated by Section 582 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ddffbd0e4cbeefb5f2532d7a20adf56b5f6533d0c906390430267b77d8e6d4d6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-591.11","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-591.14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
