No person shall engage in business as a crusher without\n\nfirst obtaining a license from the Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle,\n\nDismantler, and Manufactured Housing Commission specifically\n\nauthorizing engagement in such business.\n\nB. A person licensed as a scrap metal dealer in this state who\n\nis engaged primarily in the business of a scrap metal dealer and who\n\ncrushes vehicles only at its licensed scrap metal dealer location\n\nshall be exempt from the licensing requirements of this act. A\n\nperson licensed as a scrap metal dealer who fails to keep records of\n\ncrushed vehicles as required by the Scrap Metal Dealers Act shall\n\nnot be entitled to the exemption herein. Any crusher who is an\n\nindependent contractor employed to crush vehicles for a scrap metal\n\ndealer shall not be exempt from the requirements of this act.
