Stat. tit. 47, § 47-6-102v1","heading":"Persons exempt – Reciprocity agreements with foreign","body":"countries.\n\nA. A nonresident who is sixteen (16) years of age or older may\n\noperate a motor vehicle in this state as authorized by the class,\n\nrestrictions, and endorsements specified on the license, if the\n\nnonresident is:\n\n1. Properly licensed in the home state or country to operate a\n\ncommercial or noncommercial motor vehicle and who has immediate\n\npossession of a valid driver license issued by the home state or\n\ncountry; or\n\n2. A member of the Armed Forces of the United States or the\n\nspouse or dependent of such member who has been issued and is in\n\npossession of a valid driver license issued by an overseas component\n\nof the Armed Forces of the United States.\n\nB. A resident who is at least fifteen (15) years of age may\n\noperate a vehicle in this state without a driver license, if the\n\nresident is:\n\n1. Operating a vehicle pursuant to subsection B of Section 6-\n\n105 of this title; or\n\n2. Taking the driving skills examination as required by Section\n\n6-110 of this title, when accompanied by a Driver License Examiner\n\nof Service Oklahoma or by a designated examiner approved and\n\ncertified by Service Oklahoma.\n\nC. Any person, while in the performance of official duties, may\n\noperate any class of motor vehicle if the person possesses any class\n\nof valid Oklahoma driver license or a valid driver license issued by\n\nanother state, if the person is:\n\n1. A member of the Armed Forces of the United States who is on\n\nactive duty;\n\n2. A member of the military reserves, not including United\n\nStates reserve technicians;\n\n3. A member of the National Guard who is on active duty\n\nincluding National Guard military technicians;\n\n4. A member of the National Guard who is on part-time National\n\nGuard training including National Guard military technicians; or\n\n5. A member of the United States Coast Guard who is on active\n\nduty.\n\nD. 1. The Director of Service Oklahoma is hereby authorized to\n\nadopt rules as may be necessary to enter into reciprocity agreements\n\nwith foreign countries. The rules shall specify that the driver\n\nlicense standards of the foreign country shall be comparable to\n\nthose of this state. The rules shall also require foreign drivers,\n\nwho are operating a motor vehicle in Oklahoma under such a\n\nreciprocity agreement, to comply with the compulsory motor vehicle\n\nliability insurance and financial responsibility laws of this state.\n\n2. Service Oklahoma shall enter into a reciprocity agreement\n\nfor driver licenses with the country of Ireland.\n\nE. When an automated driving system, as defined by Section 1701\n\nof this title, installed on a motor vehicle is engaged, the\n\nfollowing shall apply:\n\n1. The automated driving system is considered the driver or\n\noperator, for the purpose of assessing compliance with applicable\n\ntraffic or motor vehicle laws, and shall be deemed to satisfy\n\nelectronically all physical acts required by a driver or operator of\n\nthe vehicle; and\n\n2.
