Stat. tit. 47, § 47-6-105.2","heading":"Instructor permit","body":"\n\nService Oklahoma may issue an instructor permit to any qualified\n\nsecondary school driver education instructor as defined by the State\n\nBoard of Education rules and regulations for Oklahoma high school\n\ndriver and traffic safety education or any driver education\n\ninstructor, certified by Service Oklahoma, of a parochial, private,\n\nor other nonpublic secondary school upon a proper application to the\n\nState Board of Education or the Department of Public Safety in the\n\ncase of secondary schools that are not regulated by the State Board\n\nof Education or a commercial driver training course instructor, as\n\nprovided for in Sections 801 through 808 of this title. Service\n\nOklahoma shall promulgate rules for the issuance of the permits.\n\nAny instructor as defined in this section who has been issued a\n\npermit may instruct any person who is at least fifteen and one-half\n\n(15 1/2) years of age, any person who is at least thirteen and one-\n\nhalf (13 1/2) years of age who will qualify for the permit to\n\noperate farm vehicles as provided for in Section 6-105 of this\n\ntitle, or any person who is at least fifteen (15) years of age and\n\nof secondary school or higher educational standing while regularly\n\nenrolled and certified by the instructor as a student taking a\n\nprescribed course of secondary school driver education or a driver\n\neducation course, certified by Service Oklahoma, from a parochial,\n\nprivate, or other nonpublic secondary school or a commercial driver\n\ntraining course, as defined by Sections 801 through 808 of this\n\ntitle, to operate a motor vehicle while accompanied by and receiving\n\ninstruction from the instructor who is actually occupying a seat\n\nbeside the driver.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b15249282848913a60492392ed6092612a2f706f4382af042e00f5239a0145d3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-6-105","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-6-105.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
