Stat. tit. 47, § 47-6-107.1","heading":"Recommendation of cancellation or denial of driving","body":"privileges of persons 20 or younger for certain alcohol or substance\n\nabuse offenses – Notification of Department.\n\nA. When any district court, municipal court of record or any\n\nmunicipal court in a city or town in which the judge is an attorney\n\nlicensed to practice law in this state has determined that a person\n\nunder the age of eighteen (18) years has committed any offense\n\ndescribed in subsection C of this section, or that a person eighteen\n\n(18), nineteen (19), or twenty (20) years of age has committed an\n\noffense described in Section 11-906.4 of this title, the court shall\n\nnotify Service Oklahoma on a form prescribed by Service Oklahoma as\n\nprovided in Section 6-107.2 of this title.\n\nB. The notice shall include the name, date of birth, physical\n\ndescription and, if known, the driver license number of the person.\n\nThe notice shall contain an order to Service Oklahoma to cancel or\n\ndeny driving privileges for a period of six (6) months for the first\n\noffense or a period of one (1) year for a subsequent offense.\n\nProvided, however, if the person is less than sixteen (16) years\n\nof age at the time of the determination, and the person will be less\n\nthan sixteen (16) years of age at the end of the period of\n\ncancellation or denial, Service Oklahoma shall extend the period of\n\ncancellation or denial to the date the person attains sixteen (16)\n\nyears of age.\n\nThe court shall send a copy of the notice to the person first\n\nclass, postage prepaid.\n\nC. In addition to the administrative revocation of driving\n\nprivileges pursuant to Section 754 of this title, and the mandatory\n\nrevocation of driving privileges pursuant to Section 6-205.1 of this\n\ntitle, this section applies to any crime, violation, infraction,\n\ntraffic offense or other offense involving or relating to the\n\npossession, use, sale, purchase, transportation, distribution,\n\nmanufacture, or consumption of beer, alcohol, or any beverage\n\ncontaining alcohol and to any crime, violation, infraction, traffic\n\noffense or other offense involving or relating to the possession,\n\nuse, sale, purchase, transportation, distribution, manufacture,\n\ntrafficking, cultivation, consumption, ingestion, inhalation,\n\ninjection, or absorption of any controlled dangerous substance as\n\ndefined by paragraph 8 of Section 2-101 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes or any substance which is capable of being ingested,\n\ninhaled, injected, or absorbed into the human body and is capable of\n\nadversely affecting the central nervous system, vision, hearing, or\n\nother sensory or motor functions.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0698a06bf38e045ccedb93ea0457f556f616c2c8e7849a6ecac58fdf8415d4fe","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-6-107","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-6-107.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
