The following endorsements shall be placed on an Oklahoma\n\ndriver license to any person qualifying therefore as determined by\n\nService Oklahoma. Any person having an original Class A, B, C or D\n\nOklahoma driver license shall only be required to take the\n\nsupporting written endorsement testing which is required to endorse\n\nthe original Class A, B, C or D Oklahoma driver license.\n\nEndorsement Authorizes the operation of:\n\n\"H\" A non-tank-type vehicle used to\n\ntransport hazardous materials in\n\nplacardable amounts pursuant to 49\n\nC.F.R., Part 172, subpart F;\n\n\"M\" A motorcycle;\n\n\"N\" A tank vehicle as defined in Section\n\n1-173.1 of this title;\n\n\"P\" A vehicle designed by the\n\nmanufacturer to transport sixteen or\n\nmore passengers, including the\n\ndriver;\n\n\"S\" A school bus;\n\n\"T\" A vehicle with double or triple\n\ntrailers;\n\n\"X\" A tank vehicle used to transport\n\nhazardous materials in placardable\n\namounts pursuant to 49 C.F.R., Part\n\n172, subpart F.\n\nB. Service Oklahoma may also provide for additional\n\nendorsements as may be needed or as otherwise provided for by law.\n\nC. No person shall operate a motor vehicle requiring\n\nendorsements as provided for in this section without having a valid\n\nClass A, B, C or D license with the required endorsements.\n\nD. All endorsements as provided for in this section must be\n\nobtained prior to the operation of such vehicles. However, the\n\nrequirement for a hazardous materials endorsement is not required\n\nfor the operation of farm vehicles used to transport pesticides,\n\nfertilizers, or other products integral to farming, but which are\n\ndefined as hazardous materials. If, after obtaining a hazardous\n\nmaterial endorsement, a person becomes ineligible for the hazardous\n\nmaterial endorsement pursuant to state or federal law, or both, or\n\nany regulation, Service Oklahoma shall provide notice as provided in\n\nSection 2-116 of this title. A person will have thirty (30) days\n\nfrom the date of the notice to appear at a designated testing\n\nfacility to apply and be issued a commercial driver license without\n\nthe endorsement.
