Every licensee shall have his or her driver license in his\n\nor her immediate possession at all times when operating a motor\n\nvehicle. Upon demand of a peace officer, the licensee shall produce\n\nand provide physical possession of the driver license to the peace\n\nofficer. Any person violating this subsection shall, upon\n\nconviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as\n\nprovided for in Section 17-101 of this title.\n\nB.
