As a way to honor and recognize the veterans who have served\n\nour country, Service Oklahoma shall make space available in a\n\nprominent location on the front of the driver license and the\n\nidentification card for a flag emblem and the word \"veteran\" to be\n\ndesigned by Service Oklahoma that will serve as a notation of\n\nveteran status. In addition, no later than March 1, 2026, Service\n\nOklahoma shall make the same space available for a flag emblem and\n\nthe words \"veteran\" and \"100%\" to be designed by Service Oklahoma\n\nfor persons who are a one hundred percent (100%) disabled veteran as\n\ndescribed in subsection P of Section 6-101 of this title.\n\nB. Upon application for issuance or renewal of the driver\n\nlicense or identification card and in addition to other\n\ndocumentation required by Service Oklahoma, persons requesting\n\neither of the flag emblems shall be registered with the veterans\n\nregistry created by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs.\n\nProvided, that if the person requesting the flag emblem has\n\npreviously received a flag emblem pursuant to this subsection, no\n\nregistration with the veterans registry shall be required to receive\n\nthe flag emblem.
