Effective June 1, 2026, Service Oklahoma shall permit a\n\ndriver license or state identification cardholder to voluntarily\n\ndesignate with the placement of a unique symbol that the person has\n\nbeen diagnosed with epilepsy by a licensed physician. The\n\ndesignation shall be used by a law enforcement officer or an\n\nemergency medical professional to identify and effectively\n\ncommunicate with a person who has been diagnosed with epilepsy and\n\nshall not be used for any other purpose by any other person.\n\nB. The cardholder may choose whether the voluntary designation\n\nindicating that a person has been diagnosed with epilepsy, pursuant\n\nto paragraph 1 of this section, shall be displayed on the driver\n\nlicense or identification card or in the Oklahoma Law Enforcement\n\nTelecommunications System (OLETS) in accordance with procedures\n\nprescribed by Service Oklahoma.
