Stat. tit. 47, § 47-7-313","heading":"Exception when insurer liable","body":"No driving privilege of any person shall be suspended under the\n\nprovisions of this chapter if the Department of Public Safety shall\n\nfind that an insurer was obligated to pay the judgment, at least to\n\nthe extent and for the amounts required in this chapter, upon which\n\nthe suspension is based but has not paid the judgment for any\n\nreason. A finding by the Department that an insurer is obligated to\n\npay a judgment shall not be binding upon the insurer and shall have\n\nno legal effect whatever except for the purpose of administering\n\nthis section.
