Stat. tit. 47, § 47-7-600","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Section 7-600 et seq. of this title:\n\n1. \"Owner's policy\" means a policy of motor vehicle liability\n\ninsurance which:\n\na. shall designate by explicit description or by\n\nappropriate reference all vehicles with respect to\n\nwhich coverage is thereby to be granted,\n\nb. shall insure the person named therein and insure any\n\nother person, except as provided in subparagraph c of\n\nthis paragraph, using an insured vehicle with the\n\nexpress or implied permission of the named insured,\n\nagainst loss from the liability imposed by law for\n\ndamages arising out of the ownership, maintenance,\n\noperation or use of the vehicle,\n\nc. may provide for exclusions from coverage in accordance\n\nwith existing laws, and\n\nd. shall be issued by an authorized insurer providing\n\ncoverage in accordance with Section 7-204 of this\n\ntitle or in the case of a commercial automobile\n\ninsurance policy may be issued by an unauthorized\n\ninsurer as allowed pursuant to Section 1106 of Title\n\n36 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\n2. \"Operator's policy\" means a policy of motor vehicle\n\nliability insurance which shall insure the named person against loss\n\nfrom the liability imposed upon the named person by law for damages\n\narising out of the operation or use by the named person of any motor\n\nvehicle not owned by the named person, subject to the same limits of\n\nliability required in an owner's policy.\n\n3. \"Security\" means:\n\na. a policy meeting the minimum vehicle liability limits,\n\nb. a deposit of cash or securities as defined in Section\n\n7-330 of this title having the equivalency of the\n\nminimum vehicle liability limits,\n\nc. self-insurance, pursuant to the provisions of Section\n\n7-503 of this title, having the equivalency of the\n\nminimum vehicle liability limits, or\n\nd. for vehicles registered pursuant to the provisions of\n\nSection 1127 of this title, a policy meeting or\n\nexceeding the minimum vehicle liability limits;\n\nprovided, the policy may be issued by an insurance\n\ncompany authorized to do business in the state of\n\nresidence or domicile of the member of the Armed\n\nForces and the motor license agent or other\n\nregistering agency shall accept the security\n\nverification form issued by such insurance company.\n\n4. \"Compulsory Insurance Law\" is the law requiring liability\n\ninsurance, which provides the minimum vehicle liability limits, in\n\nconjunction with the operation of a motor vehicle in this state as\n\nfound in this article, Section 7-600 et seq. of this title.\n\n5. \"Security verification form\" means a form, approved by the\n\nInsurance Commissioner, verifying the existence of security required\n\nby the Compulsory Insurance Law.\n\n6. “Commercial auto coverage” means coverage provided to an\n\ninsured, regardless of the number of vehicles or entity covered,\n\nunder a commercial auto, garage or truckers coverage form or rated\n\nfrom either a commercial manual or rating rule as filed and approved\n\nby the Insurance Department.
