Stat. tit. 47, § 47-7-612","heading":"Security verification forms - Violations of law -","body":"Penalties.\n\nA. It is a misdemeanor for any person:\n\n1. To purchase a security verification form which bears altered\n\nor fictitious information concerning the existence of security\n\nrequired by the Compulsory Insurance Law;\n\n2. To display or cause or permit to be displayed or to possess\n\na security verification form which the person knows bears altered or\n\nfictitious information concerning the existence of security required\n\nby the Compulsory Insurance Law; or\n\n3. To display or cause or permit to be displayed or to possess\n\nany security verification form that is counterfeit.\n\nB. It is a Class C2 felony offense for anyone, other than an\n\ninsurer or insurance producer as defined by Section 1435.2 of Title\n\n36 of the Oklahoma Statutes, to:\n\n1. Create or otherwise manufacture a security verification form\n\nor facsimile thereof, or to create, manufacture or possess an\n\nengraved plate or other such device for the printing of security\n\nverification forms; or\n\n2. Issue or sell security verification forms.\n\nC. 1. The violation of any of the provisions of subsection A\n\nof this section shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine\n\nof not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), nor more than Two\n\nHundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) and by mandatory suspension of the\n\nperson’s driving privilege for:\n\na. two (2) months, for a first offense,\n\nb. six (6) months, for a second offense, or\n\nc. one (1) year, for a third or subsequent offense.\n\nThe suspension imposed under this subsection shall not be modified.\n\n2. The violation of any of the provisions of subsection B of\n\nthis section shall constitute a Class C2 felony offense punishable\n\nby a fine not exceeding Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), or a term\n\nof imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of\n\nSection 20M of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or by both such\n\nfine and imprisonment.\n\nD. The suspension required in subsection C of this section\n\nshall remain in effect until payment is made of the fees provided\n\nfor in Section 6-212 of this title and proof of security is\n\nfurnished to the Department of Public Safety which complies with the\n\nrequirements of Section 7-601 of this title. Suspension under this\n\nsection shall be effective when notice is given pursuant to Section\n\n2-116 of this title.\n\nE. Any person whose driving privilege has been suspended\n\npursuant to the provisions of subsection C of this section shall\n\nsurrender to the Department his or her driver license within thirty\n\n(30) days from the date of the suspension.
