Stat. tit. 47, § 47-801","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Section 801 et seq. of this title:\n\n1. “Commercial driver training school” or “school” means a\n\nbusiness enterprise conducted by an individual, association,\n\npartnership, or corporation, for the education and training of\n\npersons, either practically or theoretically, or both, to operate or\n\ndrive motor vehicles and/or to prepare an applicant for an\n\nexamination given by the state for a driver license including a\n\nrestricted Class D license for persons fifteen and one-half (15 1/2)\n\nyears old or for a permit to operate farm vehicles as provided for\n\nin Section 6-105 of this title, and charging a consideration or\n\ntuition for such services; and\n\n2. “Instructor” means any person, whether acting for himself or\n\nherself as operator of a commercial driver training school or for\n\nany such school for compensation, who teaches, conducts classes of,\n\ngives demonstrations to, or supervises practice of persons learning\n\nto operate or drive motor vehicles or preparing to take an\n\nexamination for a driver license including a restricted Class D\n\nlicense for persons fifteen and one-half (15 1/2) years old or for a\n\npermit to operate vehicles issued under Section 6-105 of this title,\n\nand any person who supervises the work of any other such instructor.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"aaefce2bfa249335a71c18257bfa2dac2b29cf34e54b4201b1bdb3e2d63a491e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-8-105","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
