No operator, employee, or contractor of a wrecker or towing\n\nservice or of a person or business that derives any business or\n\nincome from a wrecker or towing service shall offer, and no officer\n\nor employee of the Corporation Commission, Department of Public\n\nSafety or any political subdivision of the state shall accept,\n\ndirectly or indirectly, any compensation, gift, loan, favor or\n\nservice given for the purpose of influencing the officer or employee\n\nin the discharge of official duties of the person.\n\nB. Except as provided in subsection C of this section, no\n\nofficer of the Commission, Department or any law enforcement officer\n\nof any political subdivision of the state shall have any interest,\n\nfinancial or otherwise, in a wrecker or towing service, or with a\n\nperson or in a business that derives business or income from a\n\nwrecker or towing service, nor shall a wrecker or towing service or\n\na person or business that derives any business or income from a\n\nwrecker or towing service employ such officer.\n\nC.
