Stat. tit. 47, § 47-964","heading":"Report of vehicles parked or stored more than 30 days","body":"Whenever a vehicle that is subject to registration in this state\n\nhas been stored, parked or left in a garage, trailer park, or any\n\ntype of storage or parking lot for a period of thirty (30) days, the\n\nowner of the garage, trailer park or lot shall, within five (5) days\n\nafter the expiration of that period, report the make, motor and\n\nserial number of the vehicle to the Department of Public Safety.\n\nProvided, these provisions shall not apply where arrangements have\n\nbeen made for continuous storage or parking by the owner of the\n\nmotor vehicle so parked or stored, and where the owner of said motor\n\nvehicle so parked or stored is personally known to the owner or\n\noperator of the garage, trailer park, storage or parking lot. Any\n\nperson who fails to report a vehicle as required under this section\n\nshall forfeit all claims for storage of the vehicle, and shall be\n\nsubject to a fine not to exceed Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), and\n\neach day's failure to make a report as required by this section\n\nshall constitute a separate offense.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"69eff2906bc7480f74568cefb33358dedb9771c673326e9f24865b52270f6ac3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-962","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-965"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
