Stat. tit. 47, § 47-965","heading":"Notification of law enforcement after repossession","body":"Any wrecker or towing service that repossesses a vehicle at the\n\nrequest of the lienholder of record shall, within two (2) hours of\n\nthe time the vehicle is repossessed, notify either the local law\n\nenforcement authority or sheriff’s office of the county where the\n\nvehicle was located. The wrecker or towing service operator shall\n\nfurnish the law enforcement agency with information concerning the\n\ntow including, but not limited to, a description of the vehicle, the\n\nphysical address or approximate location of where the vehicle was\n\nrepossessed, the name of the owner of the vehicle and the name of\n\nthe lienholder of the vehicle.
