A notarial act may be performed within this state by the\n\nfollowing persons:\n\n1. a notary public of this state;\n\n2. a judge, secretary-bailiff of a judge, clerk, or deputy\n\nclerk of any court of this state;\n\n3. all judge advocates, staff judge advocates, assistant judge\n\nadvocates and all legal officers of the state military forces in\n\nperformance of their official duties for military personnel and\n\ntheir dependents; or\n\n4. any other person authorized to perform the specific act by\n\nthe law of this state.\n\nB. Notarial acts performed within this state under federal\n\nauthority have the same effect as if performed by a notarial officer\n\nof this state.\n\nC.
