A notary\n\npublic physically located in this state and authorized to perform\n\nremote online notarizations under Section 5 of this act may perform\n\na notarial act by means of communication technology for a remotely\n\nlocated individual who is physically located:\n\n1. In this state;\n\n2. Outside this state but not outside the United States; or\n\n3.
