The failure of a\n\nnotary public to perform a duty or meet a requirement specified in\n\nthis act does not invalidate a remote online notarial act performed\n\nby the notary public. The validity of a remote online notarial act\n\nunder this act does not prevent an aggrieved person from seeking to\n\ninvalidate the electronic record or transaction that is the subject\n\nof the remote online notarial act or from seeking other remedies\n\nbased on law of this state other than this chapter or based on law\n\nof the United States.
