Every notary shall obtain a notarial seal containing the\n\nwords \"State of Oklahoma\" and \"Notary Public\" and the notary's name.\n\nThis seal may be either a metal seal which leaves an embossed\n\nimpression or a rubber stamp used in conjunction with a stamp pad\n\nand ink. Each notary shall authenticate all official acts,\n\nattestations, and instruments with this seal; and shall add to the\n\nnotary's official signature, the commission number of the notary and\n\nthe date of expiration of the commission of the notary. Failure to\n\nadd the commission number or the date of expiration of the\n\ncommission shall not affect the recordability of the instrument or\n\nthe notice given by such recording. This date and commission number\n\nmay be a part of the stamp or seal. If any notary public shall\n\nneglect or refuse to attach to the notary's official signature the\n\ndate of expiration of the notary's commission, the notary shall be\n\ndeemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be\n\nfined in any sum not exceeding Fifty Dollars ($50.00). The maximum\n\nfee a notary may charge and collect for each notarial act is Five\n\nDollars ($5.00), except no fee shall be charged for the notarization\n\nof an official absentee ballot affidavit.\n\nB. As authorized by Section 15-111 of Title 12A of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, regarding electronic transactions, a notary public's use\n\nof an electronic signature and electronic seal satisfies the\n\nrequirement in this section to authenticate an official act with an\n\nofficial signature and seal of office.
