Stat. tit. 51, § 51-126","heading":"Contribution Fund","body":"\n\n(a) There is hereby established a special fund to be known as\n\nthe Contribution Fund. Such fund shall consist of and there shall\n\nbe deposited in such fund:\n\n(1) all contributions, interest, and penalties collected under\n\nSections 124 and 125 of this title;\n\n(2) all monies appropriated thereto under this act;\n\n(3) all monies paid to the state pursuant to any agreement\n\nentered into under Section 123(b) of this title;\n\n(4) any property or securities and earnings thereof acquired\n\nthrough the use of monies belonging to this fund;\n\n(5) interest earned upon any monies in the fund; and\n\n(6) all sums recovered upon the bond of the custodian or\n\notherwise for losses sustained by the fund and all other monies\n\nreceived for the fund from any other source.\n\nAll monies in the fund shall be mingled and undivided. Subject\n\nto the provisions of this act, the state agency is vested with full\n\npower, authority, and jurisdiction over the fund, including all\n\nmonies and property or securities belonging thereto, and may perform\n\nany and all acts whether or not specifically designated, which are\n\nnecessary to the administration thereof, consistent with the\n\nprovisions of this act.\n\n(b) The Contribution Fund shall be established and held separate\n\nand apart from any other funds or monies of the state and shall be\n\nused and administered exclusively for the purpose of this act.\n\nWithdrawals from such fund shall be made for and solely for (A)\n\npayment of amounts required to be paid to the federal agency\n\npursuant to an agreement entered into under Section 123 of this\n\ntitle; (B) payment of refunds provided for in Section 124(c) of this\n\ntitle; (C) refunds of overpayments, not otherwise adjustable, made\n\nby a political subdivision or instrumentality; and (D) to pay\n\nadministrative costs related to the purposes of this section.\n\nProvided, however, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1994, the\n\nDepartment of Human Services is authorized to expend an amount not\n\nto exceed Six Hundred Nineteen Thousand Seventy-eight Dollars\n\n($619,078.00) for the general operation of the agency.\n\n(c) From the Contribution Fund the custodian of the fund shall\n\npay to the federal agency such amount and at such time or times as\n\nmay be directed by the state agency in accordance with any agreement\n\nentered into under Section 123 of this title and applicable federal\n\nlaw.\n\n(d) The Treasurer of the state shall be ex officio treasurer and\n\ncustodian of the Contribution Fund and shall administer such fund in\n\naccordance with the provisions of this act and the directions of the\n\nstate agency and shall pay all warrants drawn upon it in accordance\n\nwith the provisions of this section and with such regulations as the\n\nstate agency may prescribe pursuant thereto.\n\n(e) There are hereby authorized to be appropriated annually to\n\nthe Contribution Fund, in addition to the contributions collected\n\nand paid into the Contribution Fund under Sections 124 and 125 of\n\nthis title, to be available for the purposes of subsections (b) and\n\n(c) of this section until expended, such additional sums as are\n\nfound to be necessary in order to make the payments to the federal\n\nagency which the state is obligated to make pursuant to an agreement\n\nentered into under Section 123 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 51"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os51.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6d793cf4430412378503f1d33f050a79b752e01e74e83c9c27e4ecb2ffdf3e6d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-51-51-125","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-51-51-127"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
