The oath or affirmation required by Section 36.2A of this\n\ntitle and taken and subscribed to by:\n\n1. Every state officer shall be filed with the Secretary of\n\nState;\n\n2. Every state employee shall be filed with the personnel\n\nofficer of the state entity employing the state employee;\n\n3. All other officers shall be filed with the office of the\n\ncounty clerk of the county of official residence of the officer;\n\n4. All other employees shall be filed with the office of the\n\ncounty clerk of the county in which the entity employing the\n\nemployee is located; and\n\n5. Every notary public shall be filed with the office of the\n\nSecretary of State.\n\nB. No fee shall be charged for the filings or for the\n\nadministration of the oaths or affirmation.\n\nC. Blank oath forms will be furnished, without charge, by the\n\nSecretary of State to such officers and employees upon request.\n\nD. The provisions of paragraphs 3, 4 and 5 of subsection A of\n\nthis section shall not apply to municipal officers and employees or\n\nschool district officers and employees.
