Stat. tit. 51, § 51-59","heading":"Court of impeachment - Organization","body":"When articles of impeachment shall be presented to the Senate,\n\nthe Senate shall within ten (10) days thereafter organize as a court\n\nof impeachment, and may for the purpose of conducting the business\n\nof such court, appoint a clerk, who may be the secretary of the\n\nSenate. The clerk shall issue all process and keep a record of the\n\nproceedings of such court. The said court shall also appoint a\n\nmarshal and an assistant marshal who shall be its executive\n\nofficers.
