Of state officers, officers of districts of the state, and\n\ncounty commissioners, to the Governor.\n\n2. Of members of the Legislature, to the presiding officers of\n\ntheir branches respectively, when in session, and when not in\n\nsession, to the Governor; and when made to the presiding officer he\n\nshall at once notify the Governor thereof.\n\n3. Of the officers of the Legislature, to the respective\n\nbranches thereof.\n\n4. Of elective county officers, by filing or depositing such\n\nresignation in writing in the office of the county clerk, except\n\nthat of county clerk, which shall be filed or deposited with the\n\nboard of county commissioners, which resignations, unless a\n\ndifferent time is fixed therein, shall take effect upon such filing\n\nor deposit.\n\n5. Of officers of districts of the county and officers of\n\nmunicipal townships, to the board of county commissioners.\n\n6.
