Stat. tit. 52, § 52-107","heading":"Process - Service - How made - Return","body":"Except as otherwise provided or authorized in this act, service\n\nof any notice, petition or other pleading, citation, summons,\n\nsubpoena, order of the Commission of which service is required, and\n\nexecution, commitment or other process, in any proceeding before the\n\nCommission under the provision of this act, may be made by the\n\nProration Umpire, his assistant or any deputy to the Proration\n\nUmpire, or by any other person authorized and directed by order of\n\nthe Commission to make such service, and such service may be made\n\nupon any person, firm, trust, association or corporation, required\n\nto be served, in the same manner as is provided for the service of\n\nsummons in civil actions in the district courts of the state, upon\n\nsuch persons, firms, trusts, associations, and corporations\n\nrespectively. The officer or other person making any such service\n\nshall make his return thereof and file the same with the Secretary\n\nof the Commission.
