Stat. tit. 52, § 52-114","heading":"Obstructing or delaying performance of duties a felony","body":"Any person who knowingly and willfully delays or obstructs any\n\nProration Umpire, any assistant or deputy of the Proration Umpire,\n\nor any agent or employee of the Commission, in the performance of\n\nany duty enjoined upon such proration umpire, assistant or deputy of\n\nsuch Proration Umpire, or agent, or employee of the Commission, by\n\nthe provisions of this act or by any lawful order, rule or\n\nregulation of the Commission; or who knowingly and willfully delays\n\nor obstructs any public officer of the state, or of any municipal\n\nsubdivision thereof in the discharge or attempted discharge of any\n\nduty of his office, arising by virtue of or growing out of the\n\nenforcement of or an attempt to enforce the provisions of this act,\n\nor any lawful order, rule, or regulation of the Commission made in\n\npursuance of the provisions hereof; or who attempts by means of any\n\nthreat or violence to deter or prevent any such Proration Umpire,\n\nassistant, or deputy of the Proration Umpire, or any agent or\n\nemployee of the Commission from performing any duty imposed upon\n\nthem when such duty arises by virtue of or grows out of the attempt\n\nto enforce the provisions of this act or of any lawful order, rule,\n\nor regulation of the Commission made hereunder, shall be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor and upon conviction thereof may be punished by fine not\n\nexceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by confinement in the\n\ncounty jail not exceeding six (6) months, or both.
