Stat. tit. 52, § 52-137.1","heading":"Regulation of oil and gas activities by municipalities,","body":"counties, or other political subdivisions.\n\nA municipality, county or other political subdivision may enact\n\nreasonable ordinances, rules and regulations concerning road use,\n\ntraffic, noise and odors incidental to oil and gas operations within\n\nits boundaries, provided such ordinances, rules and regulations are\n\nnot inconsistent with any regulation established by Title 52 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes or the Corporation Commission. A municipality,\n\ncounty or other political subdivision may also establish reasonable\n\nsetbacks and fencing requirements for oil and gas well site\n\nlocations as are reasonably necessary to protect the health, safety\n\nand welfare of its citizens but may not effectively prohibit or ban\n\nany oil and gas operations, including oil and gas exploration,\n\ndrilling, fracture stimulation, completion, production, maintenance,\n\nplugging and abandonment, produced water disposal, secondary\n\nrecovery operations, flow and gathering lines or pipeline\n\ninfrastructure. All other regulations of oil and gas operations\n\nshall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Corporation\n\nCommission.
