Stat. tit. 52, § 52-21","heading":"Businesses and persons subject to act - Vested rights","body":"excepted.\n\nEvery corporation, joint-stock company, limited copartnership,\n\npartnership or other person, now, or hereafter exercising or\n\nclaiming the right to carry or transport natural gas by or through\n\npipeline or lines, for hire, compensation or otherwise, or now or\n\nhereafter exercising or claiming the right to engage in the business\n\nof producing, piping or transporting natural gas, or any other\n\nperson or persons, now or hereafter engaging in the business of\n\nbuying, selling in or transporting natural gas within the limits of\n\nthis state, shall not have or possess the right to conduct or engage\n\nin said business or operations, in whole or in part, as above\n\ndescribed, or have or possess the right to locate, maintain, or\n\noperate the necessary pipelines, fixtures and equipment thereto\n\nbelonging, or use in connection therewith, concerning the said\n\nbusiness of carrying or transporting natural gas as aforesaid, on,\n\nover, along, across, through, in or under any present or future\n\nhighway, or part thereof, within the state, or to have or possess\n\nthe right of eminent domain, or any other right or rights,\n\nconcerning said business or operation, in whole or in part, except\n\nas authorized by and subject to the provisions of this act, except,\n\nfurther, and only such right or rights as may already exist which\n\nare valid, vested, and incapable of revocation by any law of this\n\nstate or of the United States.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"286b33c54a357a7b835fbb8570e0c4495cdcfb02acd3f3ea0325ecb5be7e70f9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-208","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
