Stat. tit. 52, § 52-24","heading":"Pipeline companies declared common carriers -","body":"Discrimination - Exemptions.\n\nEvery corporation, joint stock company, limited copartnership,\n\npartnership or other person, now or hereafter engaged in the\n\nbusiness of carrying or transporting natural gas for hire, for\n\ncompensation or otherwise, by pipeline, or pipelines within this\n\nstate, and by virtue of and in conformity to, any valid law\n\nincapable of revocation by any law of this state or of the United\n\nStates, or by virtue of and in conformity to the provisions of this\n\nact, shall be a common carrier thereof as at common law, and no such\n\ncommon carrier shall allow or be guilty of any unjust or any\n\nunlawful discrimination, directly or indirectly, in favor of the\n\ncarriage, transportation or delivery of any natural gas, offered to\n\nit, in its possession or control, or in which it may be interested,\n\ndirectly or indirectly, and provided further, that any person, firm\n\nor corporation owning or operating a natural gas pipeline within the\n\nlimits of any incorporated city or town in this state shall be\n\nexempted from the provisions of this section only as to its\n\ndistributing lines located wholly within the corporate limits of\n\nsaid city or town; and provided further, that any person, firm or\n\ncorporation engaged in gathering natural gas in this state shall be\n\nexempted from the provisions of this section as to such gathering\n\nactivities and instead shall be subject to the provisions of\n\nSections 2 and 3 of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4624d76dbe03ed4fdde5701f20174424644e78eb165d3a43aa3a0eb1ae19e036","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-239","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-24.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
