Stat. tit. 52, § 52-287.5","heading":"Ratification or approval of plan by lessees and owners","body":"No order of the Commission creating a unit and prescribing the\n\nplan of unitization applicable thereto shall become effective unless\n\nand until the plan of unitization has been signed, or in writing\n\nratified or approved by lessees of record of not less than sixty-\n\nthree percent (63%) of the unit area affected thereby and by owners\n\nof record of not less than sixty-three percent (63%) of the normal\n\none-eighth (1/8) royalty interest in and to the unit area, and the\n\nCommission has made a finding either in the order creating the unit\n\nor in a supplemental order that the plan of unitization has been so\n\nsigned, ratified or approved by lessees and royalty owners owning\n\nthe required percentage interest in and to the unit area. Where the\n\nplan of unitization has not been so signed, ratified or approved by\n\nlessees and royalty owners owning the required percentage interest\n\nin and to the unit area at the time the order creating the unit is\n\nmade, the Commission shall, upon petition and notice, hold such\n\nadditional and supplemental hearings as may be requested or required\n\nto determine if and when the plan of unitization has been so signed,\n\nratified or approved by lessees and royalty owners owning the\n\nrequired percentage interest in and to the unit area and shall, in\n\nrespect to such hearings, make and enter a finding of its\n\ndetermination in such regard.
