Stat. tit. 52, § 52-31","heading":"Violation of act - Punishment","body":"Any person, copartnership, or corporation, its agent or\n\nemployees, violating any of the provisions of this act, or any order\n\nof a court of competent jurisdiction of this state, or the\n\nCorporation Commission, pursuant to the jurisdiction conferred by\n\nthis act, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined a sum of not less\n\nthan One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), nor more than Five Thousand\n\nDollars ($5,000.00), or imprisonment not less than six (6) months,\n\nnor more than one (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment\n\nfor each and every violation of this act; but in case the monthly\n\nruns or takings or transportation of gas shall average so as to be\n\nwithout discrimination, as herein provided, a transaction or\n\ntransactions of any particular day or week or portion of a month\n\nshall be disregarded; and the court of competent jurisdiction of the\n\ncounty in which the omission or commission, which is in violation of\n\nthis act, has occurred, shall have jurisdiction of an action under\n\nthe Penal Code for the punishment thereof; and that said penalties\n\nshall not be exclusive of civil liability.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"068e2fd9cf438b3117b567810275cebbf23604502c76b742e4b863933e75ff1c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-309","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
