Stat. tit. 52, § 52-318","heading":"Remedial work - Contracts upon competitive bids","body":"When the Corporation Commission undertakes to plug, replug, or\n\nrepair any well or wells as authorized and provided in Sections 309\n\nand 310 of this title, all such remedial work shall be done by\n\ncontracts let upon competitive bids. Except for expenditures made\n\nfrom the Corporation Commission Plugging Fund, the Commission shall\n\nnot expend from the Oil and Gas Revolving Fund or any other fund in\n\nthe State Treasury, in any fiscal year, for the purposes herein\n\nprovided, an amount of money in excess of the total sum specifically\n\nauthorized annually by the Legislature for such purposes.
