Stat. tit. 52, § 52-36.4","heading":"Certificate of Commission","body":"Any public utility desiring to exercise the right of eminent\n\ndomain as to any property for use for underground storage of natural\n\ngas shall, as a condition precedent to the filing of its petition in\n\nthe district court, obtain from the Commission a certificate setting\n\nout findings of said Commission (a) that the underground stratum or\n\nformation sought to be acquired is suitable for the underground\n\nstorage of natural gas and that its use for such purposes is in the\n\npublic interest; (b) the amount of recoverable oil and native gas,\n\nif any, remaining therein; provided, that the Commission shall issue\n\nno such certificate until after public hearing is had on\n\napplication, pursuant to notice served in compliance with notice in\n\ncivil actions in the district court, together with notice published\n\nat least once each week for two (2) successive weeks in some\n\nnewspaper of general circulation in the county or counties where the\n\ngas is proposed to be stored, the first publication to be at least\n\nten (10) days prior to the date of the hearing.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"bc31e86e70ab0466be1bb3ed35785e010a596bf4a6216768602fda34a49ceb7a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-36.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-36.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
