Stat. tit. 52, § 52-36.6","heading":"Ownership of gas","body":"All natural gas which has previously been reduced to possession,\n\nand which is subsequently injected into underground storage fields,\n\nsands, reservoirs and facilities, shall at all times be deemed the\n\nproperty of the injector, his heirs, successors or assigns. In no\n\nevent shall such gas be subject to the right of the owner of the\n\nsurface of said lands or of any mineral interest therein, under\n\nwhich said gas storage fields, sands, reservoirs, and facilities\n\nlie, or of any person other than the injector, his heirs, successors\n\nand assigns, to produce, take, reduce to possession, waste, or\n\notherwise interfere with or exercise any control thereover. With\n\nregard to natural gas in a stratum, or portion thereof, which has\n\nnot been condemned or otherwise purchased under the provisions of\n\nthis act:\n\n1. The injector, his heirs, successors and assigns shall not\n\nlose title to such gas if such injector, his heirs, successors or\n\nassigns can prove by a preponderance of the evidence that such gas\n\nwas originally injected into the underground storage;\n\n2. The injector, his heirs, successors and assigns, shall have\n\nthe right to conduct such tests, at his sole risk and expense\n\nincluding, but not limited to, the value of any lost production of\n\nother than the injector's gas, as may be reasonable to determine\n\nownership of such gas; and\n\n3.
