Stat. tit. 52, § 52-397","heading":"Violation of provisions - Misdemeanor","body":"Any person, firm or corporation, who violates any of the\n\nprovisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and\n\nupon conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Fifty\n\nDollars ($50.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for the\n\nfirst offense or by imprisonment of not more than thirty (30) days,\n\nor both, and for a second or subsequent offense, by a fine of not\n\nless than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), nor more than Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment of not more than one (1) year,\n\nor by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nAdded by 1933, c. 165, p. 383, § 7, emerg. eff.
