Stat. tit. 52, § 52-420.2","heading":"State Liquefied Petroleum Gas Administrator - Deputies","body":"and enforcement officers.\n\nA. There is hereby created a State Liquefied Petroleum Gas\n\nAdministrator, to be appointed by the Governor from a list of\n\nnominees submitted by the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board,\n\nhereinafter created. The appointment shall be subject to\n\nconfirmation by the Senate. The Administrator shall:\n\n1. Receive a salary to be established by the Oklahoma Liquefied\n\nPetroleum Gas Board;\n\n2. Act in no other official or quasi-official capacity except\n\nas herein provided; and\n\n3. Serve at the pleasure of the Governor.\n\nB. The Administrator, subject to approval of the Board, shall\n\nappoint and fix the duties and compensation of employees necessary\n\nto perform the duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum\n\nGas Board by law.\n\nC. 1. Persons appointed to the positions of Administrator,\n\nchief deputy administrator, deputy administrator or safety code\n\nenforcement officer shall:\n\na. be citizens of the United States,\n\nb. be legal residents of this state,\n\nc. be physically, mentally and morally capable of\n\nperforming the duties imposed upon them pursuant to\n\nthe Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation Act,\n\nd. not have been convicted of a felony in this state or\n\nany other state as established by a national criminal\n\nhistory record check as defined in Section 150.9 of\n\nTitle 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, and\n\ne. after the date of their appointment, not be engaged in\n\nany business in this state related to the production,\n\nmanufacture, distribution, sale, installation or\n\ntransportation of any of the products or equipment\n\ncovered by the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas\n\nRegulation Act.\n\n2. Each appointee shall, by education, training and experience,\n\nbe qualified and competent to perform the duties imposed upon them\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation Act,\n\nwhich for:\n\na. the Administrator shall include at least two (2)\n\nyears' experience in positions of managerial\n\nresponsibility or two (2) years' experience as a\n\nliquefied petroleum gas safety code enforcement\n\nofficer,\n\nb. the chief deputy administrator and deputy\n\nadministrators shall include at least one and one-half\n\n(1 1/2) years of such experience, and\n\nc. the safety code enforcement officers shall include at\n\nleast two (2) years' experience in actual physical\n\ninstallation or inspection of liquefied petroleum gas\n\nsystems, containers, apparatus or appliances, or\n\ninstallations thereof, and/or the ability to enforce\n\nthe rules and regulations.\n\n3. Before entering upon their duties, appointees shall take the\n\nconstitutional oath of office.\n\nD.
