Stat. tit. 52, § 52-420.21","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas Research,\n\nMarketing and Safety Act:\n\n1. \"Commission\" means the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas\n\nResearch, Marketing and Safety Commission;\n\n2. \"Cargo container\" means any receptacle mounted on a\n\ntransport vehicle, including a bobtail or semitrailer designed and\n\nused for the transportation or storage of liquefied petroleum gas,\n\nbut shall not include the motor fuel tank of the vehicle;\n\n3. \"First sale\" means the first transaction within the State of\n\nOklahoma in which ownership of odorized liquefied petroleum gas\n\ntransfers from seller to purchaser;\n\n4. “Importer” means the owner of odorized liquefied petroleum\n\ngas (LP gas) at the time of entry into this state from another state\n\nor from outside the United States;\n\n5. \"Liquefied petroleum gas (LP gas)\" means any material that\n\nis composed predominantly of any of the following hydrocarbons or\n\nmixtures of hydrocarbons: propane, propylene, normal butane,\n\nisobutane or butylenes;\n\n6. \"Loading rack\" means any material handling facility where LP\n\ngas is loaded into cargo containers, including, but not limited to,\n\ngas processing plants, refineries, underground and aboveground bulk\n\nstorage facilities, pipeline terminals and unattended LP gas\n\ndispensing facilities;\n\n7. \"Loading rack operator\" means the owner or any person or\n\nentity controlling the day-to-day operations of the facility. When\n\nthis person or entity is not the person or entity invoicing the\n\nfirst sale of odorized LP gas dispensed into a cargo container at a\n\nloading rack, the person or entity invoicing the first sale of\n\nodorized LP gas dispensed into a cargo container at a loading rack\n\nshall be considered the loading rack operator;\n\n8. \"Person\" means any individual, group of individuals, or any\n\npartnership, corporation, association, cooperative, or employee\n\nthereof, or any other entity; and\n\n9. \"Time of import\" means the time of entry into the State of\n\nOklahoma from another state or from outside the United States.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6240b50cd9f55a580c653af687ca97894d43d85600102ccbeb760b5db15747bf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-420.20","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-420.22"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
