Stat. tit. 52, § 52-472","heading":"Terms defined - Pressure - Conversion to standard","body":"conditions.\n\nThe term \"cubic foot of gas\" or \"standard cubic foot of gas\"\n\nmeans the volume of gas, including both natural gas and casing head\n\ngas, contained in one cubic foot of space at a standard pressure\n\nbase and at a standard temperature base. The standard pressure base\n\nshall be fourteen and sixty-five hundredths (14.65) pounds per\n\nsquare inch absolute and the standard temperature base shall be\n\nsixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit. Whenever the conditions of pressure\n\nand temperature differ from the above standard, conversion of the\n\nvolume from these conditions to the standard conditions shall be\n\nmade in accordance with the Ideal Gas Laws corrected for deviation\n\nfrom Boyle's Law, which correction must be made unless the pressure\n\nat the point of measurement is two hundred (200) pounds per square\n\ninch gauge or less; all in accordance with methods and tables\n\ngenerally recognized by and commonly used in the natural gas\n\nindustry.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8d11bdec8c9131f6be6eff18f5fd05e5c5e2db1ba99e1ae6e4e7cc136203de42","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-471","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-473"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
