Stat. tit. 52, § 52-473","heading":"Determination of factors by Commission - Determination and","body":"report of volumes.\n\n(a) It shall be the duty of the Corporation Commission and said\n\nCommission is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to determine\n\nthe average temperature of gas, as produced in each oil and gas\n\nfield in Oklahoma, and to determine the other variable factors\n\nnecessary to calculate the metered volumes in accordance with the\n\nIdeal Gas Laws and the variable factors to correct for deviation\n\nfrom the Ideal Gas Laws in each of the oil and gas fields in the\n\nState of Oklahoma. Upon request of any interested party the\n\nCorporate Commission shall give notice and hold a public hearing\n\nbefore making such determination. Promptly upon such determinations\n\nthe Corporation Commission shall make and publish such findings and\n\npromulgate such reasonable field rules as may be necessary to\n\neffectuate the provisions of this act.\n\nAny person, association of persons, or corporations shall be\n\npermitted to use the findings and field rules of the Commission for\n\nall purposes under this act, but if such findings or field rules are\n\nnot so used in determining volumes under this act, the volumes so\n\notherwise determined shall be corrected to the basis of the\n\n\"standard cubic foot of gas\" as defined in Section 2 of this act.\n\n(b) Any person required to report volumes of gas under the laws\n\nof this state, shall report such volumes in number of standard cubic\n\nfeet calculated and determined under the provisions of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"146a5e12464f3f801fb8057a844644bcd7e58d2962d61b3d60edcb3a9e89114c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-472","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-474"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
