Stat. tit. 52, § 52-525","heading":"Agricultural use of natural gas - Price - Installation of","body":"lines - Cessation of delivery.\n\nSubject to prior contractual rights, every person, firm or\n\ncorporation owning or operating any gas well from which natural gas\n\nis produced, sold or used off the premises on which such well is\n\nlocated shall make available, upon request, to any person engaged in\n\nagricultural activities upon such premises, sufficient gas from the\n\nproduction of such well for the operation of pumps necessary for the\n\npumping of such amount of water, produced from wells on such\n\npremises, as may be necessary and proper for the irrigation of such\n\nportion of said premises as may be devoted to the growth of\n\nagricultural products or to pasture or orchard uses. The person at\n\nwhose request the gas is furnished shall receive the gas at the\n\nwellhead and pay therefor the price not to exceed that at which the\n\ngas is sold at the wellhead. All cost of installation, including\n\nthe gas meter, shall be borne by the person at whose request the gas\n\nis furnished. Provided, however, that the owner or operator of the\n\nwell may cease deliveries of gas upon fifteen (15) days' written\n\nnotice if the person requesting delivery fails to make payments for\n\ndelivered gas within forty-five (45) days after billing is made by\n\nthe owner or operator.
