Stat. tit. 52, § 52-526","heading":"Irrigation pumps - Providing natural gas - Price -","body":"Installation of lines - Cessation of delivery.\n\nSubject to prior contractual rights, every person, firm or\n\ncorporation owning or operating a natural gas gathering pipeline\n\nlocated on lands in a proven natural gas field, shall furnish to\n\nowners or operators of natural gas engines used for pumping\n\nirrigation water on such lands and to these same owners or operators\n\nof irrigation wells, if requested to do so, natural gas for the\n\noperation of engines used for pumping irrigation water. The price\n\ncharged to the owner or operator of such irrigation wells shall not\n\nbe more than twenty-five percent (25%) above the prevailing wellhead\n\nprice. The owners or operators of such gathering line shall make\n\nconnection and furnish the gas meter, but all costs of installation,\n\nincluding this cost of the gas meter, shall be borne by the owner or\n\noperator of such irrigation well. Provided, however, that the owner\n\nor operator of the pipeline may cease deliveries of gas upon fifteen\n\n(15) days' written notice if the person requesting delivery fails to\n\nmake payments for delivered gas within forty-five (45) days after\n\nbilling is made by the owner or operator.
