Stat. tit. 52, § 52-549.6","heading":"Rights of purchaser","body":"RIGHTS OF PURCHASERS\n\nA purchaser takes free of any oil and gas lien otherwise\n\napplicable to the oil or gas so purchased, and shall be relieved of\n\nany obligations created by subsection A of Section 570.10 of Title\n\n52 of the Oklahoma Statutes, only in the event that either of the\n\nfollowing occur:\n\n1. The purchaser is deemed to be a buyer in the ordinary course\n\nof the first purchaser's business as defined in Article 9; or\n\n2. The purchaser has paid all of the consideration due the\n\nfirst purchaser, including by exchange of oil or gas, net-out or\n\nset-off, under all applicable enforceable contracts in existence at\n\nthe time of the payment.\n\nNotwithstanding the foregoing, the oil and gas lien will\n\ncontinue uninterrupted in the proceeds paid to or otherwise due the\n\nfirst purchaser.\n\nExcept as specifically set forth in this section, an oil and gas\n\nlien has priority over the rights of any purchaser.","path":["OK Code","Title 52"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os52.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"743e0cb3fb7dac4bd79381497fd1cb51596c98c7d2865eef6b007f312855adce","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-549.5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-52-52-549.7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
