Stat. tit. 52, § 52-610","heading":"Violations - Fines and penalties - Collection of fines","body":"Any person who shall disobey or violate any of the provisions of\n\nthis act or any of the orders, rules, regulations or adjudications\n\nof the Commission made pursuant to this act shall be punished for\n\ncontempt. Punishment by the Commission in proceedings for contempt\n\nshall be imprisonment in the county jail of Oklahoma County for not\n\nmore than one (1) year and/or a fine not to exceed Fifty Thousand\n\nDollars ($50,000.00). Each day the disobedience or violation\n\ncontinues shall constitute a separate and additional contempt and\n\nshall be punished by separate and additional fines each in an amount\n\nnot to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00). Any fine or\n\npenalty assessed under the provisions of this act shall constitute a\n\nlien upon all the property of the offender within the state, except\n\nthe homestead of the offender. Before any fine or penalty shall\n\nbecome a lien upon any property of the offender as against third\n\npersons, a copy of the order or adjudication of the Commission\n\nassessing the fine or penalty, certified by the Secretary of the\n\nCommission, shall be filed in the offices of the court clerk and the\n\ncounty clerk of the county where the property of the offender is\n\nlocated and entered on the judgment docket of the court of said\n\ncounty. If the fine is not paid to the Commission within thirty\n\n(30) days after the final order or judgment of the Commission\n\nimposing the same, the Commission shall issue an execution directed\n\nto the Director of the Commission's Oil and Gas Conservation\n\nDivision to levy upon any property of the offender found within the\n\nstate, and to sell and dispose of the same in the manner now\n\nprovided by law and required of sheriffs in this state in the levy\n\nupon and sale of property under an execution upon a judgment of a\n\ndistrict court of the state. All costs incurred in the issuance,\n\nexecution and sale under such levy shall be taxed against the\n\noffender and collected in the same manner provided herein for the\n\ncollection of such fine.
