Stat. tit. 53, § 53-1.10","heading":"Historical Society Revolving Fund","body":"There is hereby created in the State Treasury of the State of\n\nOklahoma a revolving fund to be designated as the Historical Society\n\nRevolving Fund, which shall consist of all money appropriated to\n\nsaid fund and all money received by the Oklahoma Historical Society\n\nfrom membership, sales of publications, sales of merchandise to\n\nvisitors, income from duplicating and microfilm services,\n\ncontributions, entry fees, gifts and endowments, excluding those\n\ngifts and endowments conditionally tendered, and other income\n\nderived from the operations of the Oklahoma Historical Society and\n\nfrom historic sites. The Oklahoma Historical Society is hereby\n\nauthorized and directed to prepare for public distribution such\n\nhistorical data as may in its judgment meet the public demand; said\n\nSociety shall determine the fee to be charged for each of the\n\npublications and such fee should be sufficient to cover the cost of\n\npreparing, publishing and marketing to the general public in the\n\nmuseums and historic sites operated by the Society.\n\nSaid revolving fund shall be a continuing fund not subject to\n\nfiscal year limitations and shall be under the control and\n\nmanagement of the Oklahoma Historical Society and the disbursements\n\ntherefrom shall be approved by the Society. Monies deposited in\n\nsaid revolving fund may be expended for the purpose of maintaining\n\nand operating the Oklahoma Historical Society functions and for\n\noperation of historic sites. Monies deposited in said revolving\n\nfund from entry fees collected at each participating museum or site\n\npursuant to the entry fee pilot project shall be expended only on\n\nthe museum and historic site from which the fee is collected and for\n\nthe purposes outlined in Section 1.21 of this title. Purchases of\n\nmerchandise for sale to visitors shall be exempt from The Oklahoma\n\nCentral Purchasing Act but all other expenditures shall be made\n\npursuant to the laws of the state and the statutes relating to the\n\nOklahoma Historical Society.
