Stat. tit. 53, § 53-171","heading":"Dispensation of funds - Contracts for goods and services","body":"The Oklahoma Arts Council shall dispense funds for arts purposes\n\nonly. The Oklahoma Arts Council shall enter into contracts with\n\nother state agencies or nonprofit corporations holding a valid\n\nexemption from taxation issued pursuant to Section 501(a) of the\n\nInternal Revenue Code, 1954, and listed as an exempt organization in\n\nSection 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1954, of the United\n\nStates, as amended. These nonprofit corporations must demonstrate\n\nthat the goods and services provided meet the intent of the state\n\npolicy provided in this act.\n\nFunds shall not be applied, donated or used directly or\n\nindirectly for the use, benefit or support of any sect, church,\n\ndenomination or system of religion, or for the use, benefit, or\n\nsupport of any priest, preacher, minister, or other religious\n\nteacher or dignitary, or sectarian institution as such.\n\nThe Oklahoma Arts Council shall provide opportunity, by public\n\nnotices, to all organizations interested in providing these goods\n\nand services, who will submit written applications to be received\n\nand acted upon by the Council.
